MCRD Silver Jubilee Block
PROFILE Children with mental disabilities, ages 5 to 18, regardless of caste, religion, language, and class are admitted here. Parents have to submit a Medical Certificate, Disability Certificate, and Birth Certificate at the time of admission. The school social worker will help in obtaining these certificates if needed. The school also started rehabilitating adults as a part of the Silver Jubilee project which is mention below.
ADMISSION
The school is recognized by the State Government and has 28 dedicated members on its staff. Some of them have been with the school since its inception and others have completed 25 years of service. Ten specially trained teachers, a social worker, speech therapists (volunteers), part time OT and PT professionals, and experienced care givers comprise our diligent staff. The school provides residential and day-care facilities for its children.
