The MCRD (Mar Thoma Centre for Rehabilitation and Development) Navajyothi School is our way of meeting the pressing need of ministering to the forgotten of society. ‘MCRD began and continues with its commitment to serve children with mental disabilities. Its start also commemorates the Episcopal Silver Jubilee of the Most. Rev. Dr. Alexander Marthoma Valiya Metropolitan, Rt. Rev.Dr.Thomas Mar Athanasius Suffragon Metropolitan and the Most Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Marthoma Valiya Metropolitan who were ordained as Bishops in 1953. God Almighty entrusted the church with the task to love,care,and train up God’s special people. Let us persist in love and diligently serve them even more as we glorify God for all his creation.
